Can I get a Hallelujah?!? It is finally the first day of kindergarten for Miriam. She has been so excited and waiting for school to start. This busy little girl needs some other kids to play with...her family is tired and played out from a summer with little structure! She was SO EXCITED for school this morning that she was up and ready to go at 5:30. Miriam knows she is not supposed to get out of bed until her clock says 6, but this morning she was convinced that her clock was broken and was NEVER going to turn 6. We are going to cut her some slack...for today...BUT we assured her that the clock was not broken and tomorrow she should sleep a little longer. Here are some photos of the first day excitement...

Sister Camp Out
Joey has been gone for 12,000 days...oops...really only 12 but it has felt like 12,000. Anyway, he has been in Liberia with a team from our church. Caleb, Helen, and I have worked as a team to keep Miriam entertained and happy. We have painted fingernails and toenails, gone to a movie, spent countless hours at the pool, and watched WAY more tv than we should. Tonight, Miriam is the most excited because she is getting to have a sister camp out with Helen. The tent is set up in the backyard, the bug spray has been applied, and the ipad has some favorite shows to watch. We will see how the night goes...at least it is starting out well.
